hey just wondering if anyone on here might know. my brother and i just put a hotbodies exhaust on an 04 gixxer, changed oil and now the red light stays on and the fi flashes. if anyone is familair with the gixer under the red light theres an oil symbol, that goes away was its running but the light stays on. on the gixxers theres a valve in the mid pipe that gets removed and dissconnected would this make the fi light come on? tried unplugging the computer and the battery to see if it would reset but nothing. anyone have any suggestions? the hotbodies undertail with the exhaust underneath looks real good. took about 6 hours or so to do, and forget about the trunk its gone.

i did not disconnect the set valve motor. just disconnect the cable. there is a brown, black stripe wire in the ecu unit. just unplug that. you dont have to cut it, just push the pin and pull it out. it will stop the fi light to come on.

was looking around, think i found a black with a brown strip? so many damn colors i dont want to be pulling out the wrong one
