Gixxer Wheels on Gen 3

I guess I need to rephrase my question…

Will 2024 gixxer 1000R wheels fit on a gen 3 busa.

My apologies I didn’t ask the appropriate question in my first post.

I think your question was worded fine.....

I didn't respond because I don't know the answer and I believe as you are treading on a new idea, not many others will know.....

You might be the guinea pig.....

Well, the '17-'24 Gsxr1k will fit the 3rd and 4th gen 1k's if you change wheel spacers.
The 3rd and 4th gen 1k wheels can swap with Gen1 and Gen2 Busa wheels, again with different wheel spacers.
But, I do not know if the Gen3 Busa wheels are compatible with the Gen1 and Gen2 Busa wheels.
I think the axle's outside diameter is still the same, and spacers can be made, but the issue being the width of the 7th gen Gsxr1k vs the Gen3 Busa's wheel hub width, for rotor spacing, rotor mounting, and caliper mounts.
I can take measurements off of the '18 Gsxr1k tonight if you need them, and you can compare them to your Gen3 Busa.
I have a titanium front axle on the shelf for the '18 Gsxr1k now too(waiting on the rear axle being made) so I can measure that as well.

Why would you want to swap them? The 3rd Gen Busa's wheel were reengineered to be lighter stronger and provide better feedback with the new spoke design. Also the Gixxer is a much lighter bike. I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk rim damage from a pothole or hitting something in the road.

I was wondering the same thing what would be the benefit??????

Well originally I was going to blue powder coat my factory wheels but my buddy showed and suggested some 1K blue rims he spotted.
