Going back to the track

I broke my right foot over 2 months ago and am gonna go run at Lebanon Valley tonight. I've been riding my bike on the street and can't wait for tonight. I had a hard cast on for 6 weeks and now have a removeable "moon" boot. Maybe I'll run into B.D. Wishbone there? Hopefully I'll be right back where I was before I broke my foot.

The pass went ok for my first pass back,I hit the rev limiter in 1st then ended up short shifting 3rd.

The bike spun the tire as soon as I shifted 2nd and I figured I'd stay in it and give the crowd a show. It spun all the way through 2nd into 3rd.

As soon as I left the line I must have hit the air shifter,it shifted about 20' out but it still went a 9.59

The track sucked, my bike normally runs 150-153mph. It even rained a little bit. All and all it was an ok night. I met Big Daddy Wishbone there. It was nice meeting you and your boyz. Also met a few LABusa.org members.

I'm 200#'s(BEER is a hobby of mine),I've been racing on and off for about 6 years.

I don't know how you guys do it, I've been running a 2000 for about 4 months now and could not leave the line with out a wheelie and having to get out of it or bogging the motor, until I stretched it and got a shinko now I leave hard but I still don't get the 60s like ya'll, I weigh 260 though.What rpm are leaving at and where are you shifting? Lifes hard on a fat boy we mostly run 1/8th down here in texas

What all mods do you have done to your bike? To answer your question about RPM to launch at, it all depends on your riding style. Alot of peole I know launch around 3,500-4,000.
As for shift points,from 1st-2nd I shift at 10,800,and the rest I shift at 11,000.
