Going for a biospy tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Its not often (if ever) that I post about potentially bad things... But tomorrow I have to go in for a biopsy on my tongue and to say I am not thrilled is an understatement.
My dental hygienist is militant about oral cancer so she inspects everyones mouth for almost 20 minutes before she even starts cleaning... Needless to say she found something that disturbed her in my mouth and made me do a visilight test... Which came up positive...

I am not overly worried to be honest... If it is something bad (cancer) at least they can (hopefully) remove just the cancerous parts... If not it would be the whole tongue.
At this time it is all conjecture on my part and it could be a myriad of other things. But I do have some of the symptoms that usually present.


In case I have depressed you here is something ridiculous to compensate.

I highly highly recommend it. I know that I can go in tomorrow and be told there is nothing wrong... I would rather do this now and find out it is a false positive then not have had her scare the poop out of me and find out to late.

Hope everything goes well. Better to err on the side of caution and have it checked. Be thankful your Doc looks, I don't think I've ever had a dentist look at my tongue too hard..

jokes are fine... I make it a point to take nothing (about myself) serious up until I am positive that I have too.

I always ask for luck before prayers... because there is always someone out there that needs them more than me at that particular time. I ask for them when I really really need them so as not to boggart them. I am kind of superstitious not even kidding.

I will let you (and everyone else) how it goes tomorrow.
