Good price for a 2004 busa?

Hi All,

New here. I hope to be buying a 2004 Busa with 2,700 miles on it. Only add on is a full Yoshimura pipes exhaust system. The bike is spotless and was broken in correctly. The seller is a friend of mine.

Here's my question - what's a good price for a bike like this? I see what people are asking for them, what they are going for on ebay, and what the blue book is on them. What do you think?

Well, I'm far from an expert, but I would think around $8,500 would be fair. Wow, only 2,700 miles...I had that in my first month!

Congrats and welcome. I have to agree with omslaw that $8500 would be a good price, especially considering the low mileage and the pipe. I've seen them sell for that and more with much more mileage on them. So get it, take some pics and let's have a look at her already. BTW don't forget to get your gear too.

It seemed like a great deal - thx for the input. It also comes with 2 helmets, a lightweight riding jacket, gloves, and a cover.

What does that mean "don't forget to get your gear too"?
