Hey, new to the board. (2003 silver/gray) Great place for info.

purchased the 2003 silver/gray in september. put about 3500 miles on her since. recently went riding with my lady and hit a pot hole. no visual damage to the rim or tire, yet I began to feel a slight wobble in the front wheel. the fork seals do not appear to be leaking. the wobble is most noticeable between 35-55mph and during deceleratrion. at high speeds the bike feels very stable. took her up to 160mph this weekend and she felt just fine. I went to the dealer to get it checked out and they charged me $40.00 to balance the front wheel and said the problem was fixed.
well, the wobble is still there and I'm getting really annoyed. looking for some suggestions on troubleshooting.
Also looking for a place to service my bike. not to confident in the service tech at the dealer. had problems before.
Any riders in the bronx or new york city area know of a reputable place that can look into my problem?

And if the bike was purchased in Sept. it's still under warranty and they shouldn't be charging you a penny.

You didn't mention hitting the pot hole did you?

no, i did not tell them about the pothole.
steering head bearing adjustment? can anybody give me a quick breakdown of what that entails. i want to go to the dealer armed with as much info as possible.

The problem could be a number things, the main thing is you have a front end wobble which could eventually cause a serious problem. That is what warranties are for. If the dealer won't fix it complain to American Suzuki.

I don't know if you have fixed the problem yet but check the tire to see if there is a bubble. I've had is happen on my car and i got wobble a slow speeds but seem to disappear at higher speeds. It's a result of broken belts inside the tire itself. Let us know what happens...

I went back to the dealer and asked hime to road test to feel what I was feeling. the tech guy takes it out for a spin and say nothing is wrong with it. I'm looking to take it to another dealer cuz I know I'm not imagining the wobble, however slight it is.
Thanks for the input guys, and I'll also looking into any bubbles in the tire.
