Anyone else order the kevlar lines? Front line going from break fluid container to cal. just barley long enough. Line from cal. to cal. same length! WAY to much to go over fender. Ton of excess!! Rear line came with bolt that had wrong thread pattern!? What is up with that!!! I hav calls in but no one is calling me back! Clutch line on backorder for 6wks now.. It is a 3/4 metal 1/4 rubber line crimped by the tree.. Are the replacing all the metal too? Anyone Help me here??

On a side note. I put Yosh Tri Oval on last night.. All i can really say is... SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!
KICKASS SOUND and adds power you can feel.. I have just tuned without dyno. just trial/error with yoshbox but seem to have good over all range..

If you bought a kit though, it "should" have came with a double banjo bolt for the master cylnder. Usually you have to use the stock caliper bolts/crush washers, but for Goodridge, I am not sure.
Let me know, cuz when I get my busa, one of the first mods are the brake lines and I want to make sure everything is fine.

Sabor... I also purchased the Goodrich lines From Lockhardt... same problems... I decided not to use them. I also spoke directly to Goodrich re. the clutch cable... they don't have any plans to manufacture this item. LP catalog must be wrong. I'm planning to send the "blue cables" back to Goodrich for modification.

This probably doesn't apply, but most OEM brake systems have 1 line going from brake lever to either a "Y" splitter under the lower triple tree or down to one caliper, then a short line over the fender to the other caliper. Usually when you remove these lines and replace them with steel braided, they come with 2 equal (or 1 slightly longer) lines. Both go straight from the brake level to the independant caliper, giving you a better more control bite on the rotors. But you would of had a double banjo bolt in your kit to bolt into the master cyclnder.
Maybe they don't do this for the busa, maybe someone else can elaborate on this alot more.

Bulldog may be correct... perhaps the kit is designed to run two lines, one to each caliper, rather than over the fender as OEM. Falcon161... can you tell us, is that how you used the kit?

what did you do with excess line that goes over front fender??? I have about 3" of line that is way more that i need there. concerned with it rubbing on rad.

Both lines are same length.. It did come with a dual ban. bolt. I ordered clutch cab. however since i see there is no plans to make one i should cancel order!!! This really pisses me off! you would think someone would check these on a bike before marketing!

Sabor: I work for Parts Canada (Parts Unlimited's sister company), we stock the Goodridge lines.
Can you check your packaging to see if the part # is : SU2436-2FD (front brake lines) (rear is SU-2436-1FD and clutch is SU-2436-1CD).
If this is the part # then something is definitely wrong and they need to go back, if not, then take this part # to your dealer where you purchased them from and exchange the lines.
Let me know!

Make sure the longer line goes to the left Caliper..and the short line to the Right.

Just put them on..and bleed them good. Awsome stopping power.

why put on the clutch ??,,no real need for it,,unless you want line uniformity.

I can't check numbers as I got from Competition Acc. which ordered from LP. The numbers on the box match thoes of the LP book for thoes parts but there are no other #'s. Is there a clutch line being made? If so how are they getting around the crimp? replacing whole line? (assumed)

Sabor it is the whole line, I have a full set of Goodridge lines Front, Rear, and Clutch in Carbon color. It didn't take more than a week to recieve then they are made right here in the USA.

Rear line is for sale at cost if interested.
