Got It!

Just got my new HayaBusa 05 Yesterday. Got to ride it today! What a thrill. This bike is awsome but have to get used to the power. Havent ridden in a while and all I had was cruisers. Trying to keep it within break in parameters is tough especially keeping it less than 55 mph for the first hundred miles. Already put 73 miles on it the first day and I cant wait for tommarow. I can now understand why people who own these bikes are such devoted followers. I terrified of dropping it. Its such a beautiful bike.

yea, dropping it sucks dude... been there and don't want to do that again...

Welcome to the board! It's the best one. I'm fairly certain
99% of us (I do for sure) know the feeling. It's hard to find the words. If you're like me, it will become an obsession. Hopefully you will spend more time riding it, than standing there staring at it. You will do both. Hell, you'll wake up in the middle of the day or night and go to the garage to just look at her. Every day you will be thinking about the next time you can ride and where to go or the next mod to do. When the mailman or UPS truck stops, you will wonder what's coming like a little kid waiting for Christmas.
There are a few mods you should do to save your sanity and money. The first is free. The kickstand mod. The next in my opinion would be frame sliders. Very little cost compared to the cost of new plastic if you drop it or it gets knocked over. You will hear many more as you go. Some have a "thing" about reflectors, you'll have to decide for yourself. I do know everyone wants PICTURES! so get a camera and get busy. (I still need to buy one) Welcome to Busa land!

Take 1st gear to 12000 rpm and take 2nd to 12000 rpm and repeat untill there is no more gears left

Adjust the chain, I had to adjust mine 3 times within 600 miles. Get yourself a 12 pk and spend a Saturday going over all the nuts and bolts, hacking off that goofy fender, taken off the reflectors and stickers, flush the radiator fluid, change the err, and lay on a few coats of wax. Then show us some pics!!!!!!
Congrats on the 05 and welcome to the board!!!!!
