Got my makeover bike up and running

Thanks for the help from the members and the info found on this board. I have gotten my project bike up and running. It is a 2000 that was not loved at all. I have spent time and of course money to re-invest in this bike. I feel it was well worth it. The plastic was not the best so I went with spray cans and decals to give it that lived in look.

Good job there. From the picture it looks like the rattle can paint job worked well. Have fun with it, and ride safe.

you are from Florida... ditch the plate holder and put it back on the tail... (I hear you can really get spanked there for an "improper" plate mount...

Nice CPR job on a bike :)

Thanks for the feedback makes my work feel more supported and I'll leave that statement now as you know what I mean. I've taken it out on the straights and have surprised myself. It pulls up very well to limit, shifts with power, and can handle downshifts without shimmering. To the last part I don't know if I need a better stabilizer for the steering or for that matter if mine really is working. Can you adjust the steering damper? Upgrade (ohlins) or some other? I've been taking it to work 60 miles round trip. Have some vibration discomfort in my hands. For the last post i have put the plate back on the tail. Thanks for that insight.
