We got my 8" over Trac arm on over the weekend and it's looking good. Still waiting for a few things to come in so I can get her ready for the track. I'll post a pic when she's complete.
No LCW, didn't get the tail...yet. I got the Tiger Tail in though got to figure some way to fill the gaps between the inner sides of the tail piece and the tail. I'm going to put my Airshifter, shift light sprocket and chain on saturday. If I get around to it, I'll post a pic of just the arm this week.
i just got rid of my 6-8 trac arm and my 60" trac arm with air will be here tomorow. sweet lookin arms. and the 60" arm is 3 pounds lighter than stock.
Streaker, I won't be able to make it to the Rock in March although I am going to try and make it there later this year. I am going to be in the SEMDRA series. Just a rookie trying to make a pass.
i never tried a shinko. tried a mt and took it off after it cracked. gone through about 15 pirelli race take offs and had no problem ever hookin on the street or track at 66 inches long. great tire and cheap.
180. you actually get a better contact patch with these. i never had a problem street or track racing with take offs. if you have a local twisty track just go on a track day and talk the guys in the pits. we have buttonwillow and thunderhill and sears point all within 1 1/2 hours here so once spring hits its easy to find tires. some guys will only sale sets but ive never payed more than 70 bucks for a set and 80 for a rear. i used one a month in the summer with street racing almost every weekend but if ya only use it on a track bike youll use about two or three a season. a guy named richie sales these tires over on psychobike also. i hear hes good with customer service also.
