Got new wheels

Awesome Jeff, nice set. I am actually getting the same set, only my spokes are in silver.

What do you think of them?? Riding impression?? Give us your scoop!! :)

Andrew is a nice guy, hope he took care of you well.

BTW, who makes that rear hugger/chain guard?? I am also going the cf bodywork route as you did, only I am thinking of spraying it with a blue tinted clearcoat.

The bike is looking pretty good!!

Enjoy the wheels.

I have saved an additional 2-2.5 lbs. Think I have the stock wheels weight wrong on that web page (front wheel + rotors should be 17 lbs., rear around 22 lb.). Nothing wrong with my old wheels, I just need more carbon.... guess you can call me "Carbon man" :).

Right now I need to have the wheels balanced (they/I forgot in the rush to have them installed) in the morning, so I can't really say about the handling.

The hugger is Lockhart Phillips. I plan on keeping the carbon, might add a Tapeworks kit.

Andrew is a good guy, my delivery was a little slow..... he was at Laguan Seca when I called (I should have been there), so I had to wait until he returned to get them shipped.

I had e-mailed Andrew some months back asking about the wheels and just so of let it die (did not think I wanted them). Andrew got some in and e-mailed me back.....poof I called and ordered the set. I'm happy with the service :)

I got new wheels too! Dymags from Richard at TTS (five spoked model). I had a local guy mount them the day they arrived (yesterday). I had the option of the tire being balanced with weights or "liquid balancer." I opted for the liquid goo because I can't stand the thought of having ugly weights on my beautiful new wheels. Problem is this liquid goo makes me nervous. Anyone familiar with this stuff and am I asking for trouble?

I haven't decided what to do with my stock wheels. What are people getting for them if I decide to sell them?
