I'm a Air Traffic Controller at a Tower.

A couple days ago, we had a runway incursion, a unauthorized vehicle on the runway, and I had to send a plane around.

Today, we had a visitor, and he asked why the car drove accross the runway. Meaning how could someone be dumb enough to drive accross an active runway.

But he didn't expect the response he got, one of my co-workers said, "to get to the other side"

We were all laughing after that, poor guy. He was pretty quiet after that.
