GPR or Scotts..Opinions Wanted

I've been thinking about buying a steering damper. For those of you that are using one or have used one. What are the drifferences between the Scotts and GPR (price difference excluded)? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

Also thinking about one and did a search,seems most people prefer the Scotts.

They all work. However, the rod dampers are more efficient than the rotary dampers. You can buy an Ohlins rod damper for less money and it works better.

If you have a Gen II it bolts right on. The Gen I takes an adapter kit which increases the cost considerably.

Is having the adjustability any advantage on the street?

No not really. Once you have the damper where you want it. You really wont fidget with it anymore. By the way, there is a nice new Scotts damper for sale in the classifieds.
