Gps question

Just a question for the board.. I notice alot of members use mounted GPS on their Hayabusas. I understand it provides a more accurate speed reading..

I'm asking for recommendations on what brand to purchase.

i found a cobra gps-100 picked it up for 50$ reads direction speed and elvation and distance.

I guess it's a good thing the cop didn't look at your GPS.

I wish the one that I have saved the top speed.  I would look for that if I ever replace it.

Garmin GPS V is a nice unit.
Can be found cheap lately on ebay.
Had top speed, and auto routing.

This is the one I have. Garmin 60CS. About $350. You can get cheaper units but I like mine.

Another question.. I'm assuming all the equipment needed to mount the GPS to the motorcycle is included with the purchase.. Am I right?

mine i used extreem velcro. no problems

No, unless you want to try and use velcro.

Do a seach for ram mounts.
Pretty good stuff and the same thing I used in the pic.
