Hi. I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kirk. I am 37 years old. I live in Portland, Oregon. I just bought a new blue Bus a couple of weeks ago. I will be looking for people to ride with. My learning curve is pretty steep at this point. I don't think that I have ever had this much fun at 40mpg. I find myself inventing reasons to take it out. It is good to meet all 1104 of you. God bless.

Welcome I am sure your 40 mpg wont last for long you will get used to it and just don't get over your head.
Also be very carful while driving a cage you might find yourself getting tickets you will lose the sensation of speed :)

Mr. Cheese! I was hoping that I would get to meet you, I just didn't know that it would be so soon. I have read many of your posts, and I have an awful lot of respect for your abilitys. I am in a related field, and I know that most people don't understand what you and I are up against. You must be a patient person. You have already helped me with my Bus through this board. Thank you, and God bless.

Deal. I met another Bus rider yesterday and I got his card. His name is Paul and he has a red Y2K Bus. I've got a lot to learn, and I would like to benefit from the experience of others. Thanks and God bless.

Mr. Cheese- I'll try entering the profile information again. I guess it didn't "take".
Auto repair is the part of my backround that I was referring to. Thanks again, and God bless.

Kirk my friend, its good to see you! After all these years Im glad that you are finaly spending some time doing something that YOU like. As your little brother I hope to join you on the road soon.

Mr. Killer- We all have responsibilities to others, but I still manage to have fun. My Typhoon would cut 60' times faster than most Bus riders can. I enjoy range days with you. And let's not forget my first Suburban. I still say that 20" of lift and 44" Swampers make for a fine commuter. God bless. PS- I dare you to buy a Bus.

Sgt. Cruiser- Hello. Must be cool living where you can see the sun rise and set on the ocean on the same day. I could never work doggies. I love dogs too much. It's one thing when good men go into harm's way, but I don't think that I could send a good animal into harm's way. When I get my E-mail fixed, I'll tell you a funny story about a dope house and a dog named "Terminator". God bless, and always remember the first rule (to go home at the end of your shift).

Rick- that reminds me. My E-mail is a little messed up (thanks to Cereal_killer). I'd like to get together for a cup of coffee and a Bus ride. I'm on the East side. I think you are on the West side. You pick a time, and I'll pick the place. God bless.
