Installed H.I.D. on 02/15 with help from Busamike. Igniter & Ballast installed on right side ram air tube. perfect fit.Light output roughly 3 times that of stock. We sat stock busa next to mine with low on. What a difference. Not time to aim yet, but Im sure it will be vastly superior to stock. Install took about 3.45 hours but part of that was trying to figure where to put everything. Thanks to all involved in this group buy. Pics to follow when I have some time.

Hmmmmmmm giving sideways look here... It sounds like a great idea and to tell you the truth I am interested in this ... But I have been told horror stories of melted lenses and warped plastic because of the heat made.... Is there any truth to this? Please keep us posted on how your bike works with these.

Can't speak for all HID systems but I think ICE has been running one for close to four years without a hitch..... Congrats on getting everything put together! Can't wait to see photo's.

NO MELTING WITH HID.

1. stock bulb is 55 or 65 watts. HID is 35 watts so 1/2 heat.

2. 3X the light output not the heat output. You could actually touch it and not get burnt. Will burn out bulb though. Oils....

3. Less "STRAIN" on the system because less draw over the long run.

4. GO FOR IT! YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK!

Very hard to put into words the difference. But, I'll try....
HID         Vs         Conventional Headlight
Michael Jordon vs. Ks in a game of 1v1 (Basketball)
BigFoot Monster Truck vs a VW Beatle in a car crushing contest!
Haybusa vs a Pocket bike in the 1/4 mile...

How am I doing?
