It was a brisk 39 degrees at lunch today, but I really needed to go for a ride, and the roads looked dry, so I went home to get my busa, and rode around at luch, feel much better now. Everyone I work with thinks I am freakin nuts, but I knew you all would understand. It was a little cold, but defintely invigorating.

I love to do that when I can!

Unfortunately it is 7 degrees, snowing, and calling for up to 12" by tonight. Guess no ride today!!

Glad you got a ride in...winters are long!

I have a theraputic ride almost every night. It's been mid to low 30s lately, but the rides are short, yet fulfilling. Know exaxtly what you are talking about.

Calling for 8-14" here on the east coast of Iowa by thursday morning but atleast I got myself a therapeutic ride in on friday. It was right around 40 here too. You have to ride when you get a chance.

Gotta admit winter riding is tuff...
Especially here in FL.

yeah it finally stoped raining here. finnaly got a ride today after a week felt so nice even though it was cold 50 deg CA weather.

We may pay for it later here in NC, but the past week has been in the 70's during the day, and 50's at night. We expect more of this weather the rest of the week, and I'm not rubbing it in. I also love to ride when ever I can, and have rode when it was 29 outside, but now I have purchased me something that will help me ride more during the winter months. So far it has kept me warm down to 30 degrees, and I rode for about 120 miles. It is an Arctiva snowmobile suit. It seems to work great as far as warmth goes, but it does not offer the security that full leathers offer if you are into doing some thrashing, but I have not had to use it lately.

Where at in Ohio Hackabusa?

The roads may have been dry here but I still don't like all that road salt laying around?

yeah, your right I was definitely on look out for residual gravel, and I stayed on main roads. I'm in the Alliance area, just about 45 minutes south of Akron.

Supposed to be in the low 70's today (wednesday) here... I'm rollin' out! Woohoo!

That just isn't fair.

We are getting close to the 12 inches of snow that was forcast. Then at least 2 weeks for the snow & ice to get off the road. And then sand & salt everywhere. S*%T THIS SUCKS!!
