Halloween Mask

HEre is a mask i repainted.. Bought one and repainted it now its almost an exact replica.. Used grey latex paint. Im trying to find some type of case to display it in all i can find are hockey helmet display cases which are lie 200 and im not spending that on a case i may just have to try and make one. Any Ideas would be appreciated please let me know how you think it turned out.

lol. i plan to for halloween but then i figure ill display it its only latex paint so it will end up chipping off if it just lays around so if i put it in a case it will last...

was alot of work.. had to use grey latex paint then smudge black into areas to make it look weathered.

Looks awsome bro. If you make a case, you could paint something from the movie for trim amd add some lighting to it.

You can't glue lexan, that's polycarbonate; but you can glue acrylic (Plexiglass is one of many trade names). Look in the phonebook locally for plastics or acrylic; alot of glass shops sell it and so does Lowes/HD. You glue it with methylene chloride (actually melts the acrylic and bonds). I've got skids of it at work but I'm sure you could score some locally.

Get a mannequin head to put it so it holds its shape. Halloween must be fun @ your house

im gonna probbably run out and look into some glass today i got the head from a beaty supply store yesterday now off to home depot gonna look at making a wooden base and glass to put ontop well see how it pans out.

Any Lowes or Home Depot should have it and you should be able to get them to cut it to your deminsions.
