Handle bar Questions

I am just curious how far can the bars come up without hitting the windscreen? I have read up to 2 inch. I am wanting to get some spacers on ebay or something. Met a guy one time he had put a bunch of washers under there to bring the bars up?

One inch and a 1/4 is all you can go. I made a set for mine just using longer bolts and aluminum spacers. I also made plastic spacers for under the fork where the big empty hole will be showing. I have a full 1 inch kit and 3/4 inch kit I can sell you cheap. If interested email me at a0007@netzero.com thanks kevin

Use the Search tool and look under Things like Bar risers or Genmar or Helibars. Tons of info on here all you have to do is mine it.

P.S. I have a Genmar and Helibars and all you have to do is a little windshield trimming to clear your Switches and reservoirs.

I have 1" risers now with barely enough clearance to be ok. I have to turn the bars away from full left to get to my kill switch. I just ordered heli bars, should be here this week, so I'll try and post up some more. I have the Puig double bubble screen and I think I'll have to Dremel that joker, but we'll see.
