For some, they despise the day, as it a rememberance off all that was lost. Very noble of you to offer without reservation your phone # to help. I get asked to help counsel some troubled Vets in the area. Often times they just need another Vet that can understand. I try and make a practice of letting them do ride alongs when I have other Vets to transport. It kindles a lot of positive energy for them. Often they find they served closer together than they ever knew. They can set aside their ailments, whether physical or mental, even if only for that transport time.

Some have stories nobody can bear witness to very easily.

As I sit and type 4 Chinooks flew low over the house on their way to the base.....

They were out for Remembrance Day....one was flying a huge Canadian flag out of the ramp......
