Hi fast people,

new user and at 24 hours distance from buying a 2008 Busa (4 months old, 9.500 euro, 750Km done).

Please pardon if I am in hurry, then, and can't lurk forum one week before posting as good education would require.

My question and needing is:

does anybody knows a way to place a 50/52 liters big hard central bag on an Hayabusa 2008?

Givi doesn't produce it.

A friend of mine says to have sightened a german '08 Buser with a magnificent hard bag with same bike colours here in Sicily this summer.

Please help me fast, if it is possibile I will be of yours in short shot time (but it is a 'must' to have space).

I've seen there are other two post similar to mine with all links available.

I ask administrator to close or join this to other ones.

Tomorrow morning I will do final check to this Hayabusa 2008, March 2008, 750 Kms done, 9.500 euro.

It seems a bit too fair price but bike really seems perfect (already seen once quite fastly).

Thanks and see soon on these pages to all my new friends.

I promise a presentation in my next post ;-)

take a look at this thread on the Portuguese Hayabusa forum.

its in Portuguese but you can translated it on google

Hayabusa PT
Many thanks.

Wow, Portuguese-English translation by free translator is terrible anyway first part of my doubt is solved.

It IS possible to equip a 08Busa with hard luggage.

That's great.

I didn't understand if there is a restricted Kg limit.

I always travel with full loaded 52liters Givi on my Bandit 600S so I would like to know if I must use side luggages for heavy tools and reserve central to very light objects.

A white Busa... seems even bigger :-D

Thanks!

Corbin is suppose to be manufacturing a set of hard bags for the 08' called "Beetlebags" some time this year. Go to the CORBIN website. They are making a trunk for the 08's too.

I've seen and I remember Corbins for Classic Hayabusa but... wow, they are expensive!

Design is at top, ok but can't spend 1.500$ for a set of bags, even if they write 'Prada' on them.

I will feel enoughly excited with a classic Givi Maxia 52liters, I will not need a top design set.

Except if there is a good reason to take Corbins, off course... I am sensible to advanced technology more than design...
