Hey guys I had smithbusa wire me up a harlan shiflight, its pimp by the way. I had him wire the extra plug to make it truly plug and play. My only problem is where does it plug at. i looked everywhere for the tach wire to find the plug and swap it in with the new wired plug any ideas on where its at.

The white plug is attached to the power harness. The pink one has a plug and play socket just like the white one. my question is I chose not to tap into the yellow wire I had the plug and play socket attached now where does it plug in.

The white plug can be plugged into the extra power harness near the right turn signal. The pink wire attaches to the red that connects to that tach wire behind the gauge cluster. Hope that made sense.

I checked behing guage cluster no way Seriously I searched realy good. Let me post another pic of the the harness look at it carefuly. I has too connect under the tank where the tach line comes in where is that at.

theres the plug and play part of it. I 10000000000000% postively sure it does not go behind guage cluster. I swear I combed the rear of the cluster for 1hr before posting. I traced the wires back underneath the tank and there appears to be several places to connect to which one is the right one.

Just curious why you wouldn't have plugged into the wire behind the cluster?

thats such a good darn question. Im stupid I guess now im searching around wasting my time. I wish I had a little crimper thing I would pull off the socket and crimp it like everyone else.

you got to be kidding I know someone has done this before. Guess i will not install the light tonight I give up im putting my bike back together I guess I will put this light later on in the summer. I got allot accomplished today.

Thanks to GREG i got my answer "connector is a coil connector, disconnect any of the 4 coil stick connectors and plug it inline there, coils are under the airbox"

Just saw this sorry sometimes we forget not everyone knows what we are talking about when we say coil connector etc. In the future ill toss that in the directions if somoene asks for that option. For the kawi's i normally use them on i have a pic.

Glad you got it, sorry you had to search.

Greg
