has anyone actually traded a map?

i have posted and so have many others looking for a pc map and i dont ever see that they get one. i was just curious if anyones giving them up. when i asked, everyone said talk to cheese but hes not giving out maps(no offense cheese)so i understand how 2 bikes with the same mods are different but it will still be alot closer that a map that doesnt compensate for your mods at all. like i said i keep reading these please help with a map posts and never see any good from it.

Dude I have received maps from a few sources and have treid them all.  The map i am running now is pretty decent.  I don't mind sharing my map.

I have an 02 with pc3r, small box mod, tre, with full muzzy system.  Send me your email and I will send you what i have.  I understand tuners don't want to give maps away, becasue thats how they make their money.  Not a problem. But, for those who can't afford the tuning right this minute there is should be an alternative.  It would be nice if we could set up a map database and the tuners could charge a small fee to download it.  Then just by sheer numbers they would make money as well.  I think I will start it

I just went to the local dealer and had them remap my bike after putting on the full yosh system. They charged $140 and that included about an hour of dyno time. I'm sure someone else could have gotten more HP out of it, however these guys got the power curve very nice and I'm happy with the way it runs, so thats all that matters right?

I don't mind sharing my map with you ... I did pay good $$ for it last year $300, but we're a family here. PM me or email me if you want it ... HMF dual high exit, PC3r, no TRE and no airbox mods.

Most people don't mind sharing a map. It just may be a little different for your bike. It very seldom will be 100% but it will be good.

good poit but they are not geeally specfic enough for a good tune. You ay find some that work well though.

Sorry for the hijack but that looks like my daughter's back yard. She lives with her mom most of the time in Garner. I drive there at least once a month. I take it Holly Springs is close by? Nice area but way too much traffic. I40 SUCKS MAJOR AZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

for 140 I would have paid a little more and had it mapped correctly 200-250 is what I charge and yesa about 2-4 hours depending on how anal I am about smoothness
