Have a strange idea for headlight bulbs? Need wattage info

Do the lowbeam and highbeam run on different wattages or just different bulbs? I have an idea I wanna try since i have an extra headlight and wonderin how I could connect a highbeam bulb into the lowbeam socket? The plug socket, not the reflector bowl.

I believe lows are 35W and high are 55W - been 2 years since I had purchased my xenon bulbs and now the low is gone and replaced with HID. The highbeam going into the lowbeam would just require the same spring style retainer that the H7 uses.....I think an H4 uses the same mechanism.

lows are 55, highs are 65. you can get a low beam bulb at up to 100 watts. just gotta know where to look

gonna mount projector from spare headlight into spare lowbeam reflector bowl. There lies the problem of either somehow usin a lowbeam bulb in projector socket, or somehow usin a highbeam bulb on wires intended for lowbeam bulb...... everyone followin me? lol
