Have combo that will work, in a pinch. Early Kaw GPZ 750 ( 1983 ). early KZ 650, 700 Vulcan, etc. Fiber plates are about same thickness as "thick" Busa plates. Steel plates are .010" thicker. Total number of plates will be different, in total stack. Different combinations of Busa and Kaw steel plates will allow precise adjustment of "stack". 1.970 to 2.000" works well. This option allows one to get a clutch, quicker, and cheaper, either from dealer, or cycle salvage. Got fresh set from junkyard for $ 20. This also allows the use of Barnett plates. Barnett plates may still not be available for Busa, but early GPZ, available in 2 different liner patterns. Hope this helps someone. I fried my stock after about 80+ runs in quarter mile.
