Hello Y'all,
I read somewhere that gen 3 busa comes with a socket hidden behind the fairing to connect OEM heated grips. (part #57100-10811)
Product Link
I tried to find it online but had no luck. Customer service is horrible & even dealer doesn't know how to do it. Can anyone share the OEM manual or location of the socket? I don't want to connect it to the battery. TIA

It's under the r/h trim price (above ram air tube). You disconnect the r/h controls and plug the new harness into both connectors. The heated grip controller gets power plus can bus signals from it.

Great. Thanks. I thought it's in the left hand side fairing piece. Now I'll have to figure hour how to pull the cables (+&-) to power up the after market heated grips that's I've got.

Can anyone advise me if aftermarket heated grips could be wired into the thee OEM socket that I understand sits under the top left hand panel? I have a brand new set of Oxford Hot Grips that I purchase for a previous Busa but I never fitted them. I considered asking the dealer to fir some OEM heated grips at the time I purchased the bike until he hit me with the price. When I picked myself up off the floor I decided to go with aftermarket. The Oxford grips are intended to wire directly via inline fuse to the battery but I don't like the idea of accidental operation after the engine has been cut. Also has anyone had experience of how to remove the existing grips, do they get destroyed removing them?

There are some 12 volt switched fuses in our fuse box. I used one for the Radar Detector and 'signal' wire for my aftermarket alarm.

I'll be adding the Kosos to 2 bikes this Arizona 'winter'. What size fuse to the Koso's use?

(The factory heated grips on my KTM were 'only' $150 and a couple hours in the garage due to my fumbling abound and they are dash controlled with a pretty easily accessible plug. That's what crazy about the Kawi and Suzi price for me. The Kawi price for my ZH2 is $430.00!)

I've heard that the Koso Grips shut off for low power, but I don't think I'd connect them directly to the battery.

Just got my OEM grip heater and there are wiring diagram from the manual. There is no hidden socket just unplug R/H switch coupler and put the grip heater wire between. I think it's pretty difficult to extract power from here.

Wonder if that loom is available as a seperate item?
Be a great plug n play setup to hook up phone charger or gps or any switched 12v into the cockpit.

I looked on Partzilla, so far, all I see is the entire wire loom for $575...which probably doesn't include that small harness.
I looked in multiple sections and could not find it anywhere else.
I did see the ecu is available though, and was shocked it was only $643.
It is listed as a 'blank ecu' as well, so I don't know if that means you need Woolrich or dealer programming before it'll work.
