Well I did it real good this time. I totaled my bike. I went out the other day to get a hose for my truck last wednesday and ran into a car. The "lady" ran across the hwy I was on and the busa T-boned her car. Because I was going out to get a hose for my truck I deicided not to wear my jacket, you know the one, the one that would have saved both my arms and back from road rash! You know its funny I preach wearing gear all the time, but the one time I needed it it was sitting on a chair at home. As you can see from the photos the front of the bike was totally destroyed. I did come out of it better than I should have, no broken bones and everything intact. Laying in the Emergency room having the road scrubbed out of the wounds is something I hope no one ever goes through! The bike hit the cars driver side rear wheel bending the axle, at least she could not drive away. One last thing, my helmit was ground down so bad that if I was not wearing it I would not have survived. Take it from me ALWAYS WEAR YOUR GEAR! Its never too hot to wear full gear
