Hayabusa V-8 Conversion

Has anyone seen or heard anything about someone that supposedly grafted on a second set of cylinders and created a Hayabusa V-8?

I have seen a photo of an article about this, but the photo did not give the details about where I might be able to acquire further information.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Anyone seen that bike that Dodge created with the Viper motor in it? Wonder how much that thing weighs in at!

doesn't that have a theoretical top speed of 400mph or something crazy like that.... they also cost more than a damn lamborgini

I read an article once where they took one of those 4 banger chevy pick-ups, reinforced the block with cement so it wouldn't blow to pieces and just kept cranking the turbo up until they got over 1000 horsepower out of it. Has nothing to do with 'busas but just thought I'd share.

Impossible...the thing has the aerodynamics of a bus and weighs just as much. The article also states "Each pair of wheels is separated by a few inches and each wheel has an independent suspension."....correct me if I am wrong but doesn't that make it a car?...4 independent wheels!

Years ago they put a Honda CBX 6cyl motor in the back of honda civic. Not sure what they had in the front, maybe the stock or another CBX motor

Years ago a company called Sesco was building V8 bottom ends for Suzuki cylinders for the USAC midget racers. We built a lot of blocks and heads for them. The motors made so much power, that all of the other midget racers complained, that USAC kept limiting their displacement until the last ones we did dad bores smaller than stock GS1100. People quit using them.

As for the Tomahawk, Chrysler had it over at Leno's and they were trying to ride it in his back parking lot. I did not get to see it.

check out radical racing there's an engine builder that does make v8 busa engines. If you've got 40-60k burning in your pocket you might be able to pick one up. Quiffe makes a transmission for it that has reverse too.

The motor makes something like 400+ hp naturaly
