anyone have any port work done? if so who did it? im looking to send my head out for a valve job and some port work. 5 axis job is around $1500. thinking of just doing it myself.

might want to send a pm to omslaw...he is the closest member i know to have any work done to his heads although i'm not sure what all they did :beerchug:

The head makes all the difference. You can keep shoving bigger and bigger pistons in but if your head can't get the air in and out your wasting your time. I was just gonna have my stock head done, but came across a really good deal on a V+H pro head that was allready done for cheeper than the stock head job. Did it make a difference. OH YEAH, and now after having the bigger head the bottom end is ready to go as big as i want.

yeah i know there are alot out there that offer this service but i was actually looking for someone who has had it done and can give me some feedback.

Cooper Performance/Williford Racing...

X10...Cooperperformance.com, I know Jerry does NLR motors and RCC uses him for headwork. The guy has a REAL motorcycle shop and you will never see him on the forums advertising or anything. He's got so much work he doesn't have to fish for any. I think he has a few day turn around on cylinder work also. You should really check him out you will not be let down. I saw towers of cylinders he was doing when i was picking up my bike
