OK. I cant get a video today because im in and out of meetings all day but let me see if I can explain how I modded my cans.
The stock cans are three chamber mufflers and I made mine into single chamber mufflers. First I cut out the rear chamber , about three inches round with the rotozip cutting wheel still leaving the threads on the outside of the new hole for the cap to screw back on. Then I had to cut down the exit pipe about an inch and a half down into the muffler from the plane that used to be the end plate/last chamber. Then with alittle work I removed the first chamber. This involved using a hammer and long screw driver to break the two welds that hold the plate inplace and then working it around the pipe that leads to the next chamber. So what your really left with is the rear plate partially removed/ big hole cut in it, and the front chamber removed. This leaves you with the middle plate still intact with three pipes running through it. All three pipes are different lenghts and are all welded to the middle plate. This gives a awsome idle and a very loud top end sound. This exhaust doesnt flow any better than stock due to that it is still stock. So dont ask if it gave more power b/c NO it wont. I did this just for the sound. Dennis/busawhipped has HMF high mounts and I heard them at WOT up at the ORG races and they sounded good but I swear that my cans sound better and are louder at WOT than his. I love the HMF's but I didnt want to pay for them. I'll try to get some pics loaded later today but I have to leave at 4 to go to the shifter cart races out in east Texas today. And please dont flame on me for doing this. I did it for the sound not the weight or hp increase. They sound awsome at idle very throaty and a good rumble. The mid range is about the same db as any other system but at WOT they are way louder than anything I've heard yet and they sound cleaner than the sidewinder systems.
I'll post more later.
