Headlight Plugs

I replaced my front end and i am trying to plug my headlight plugs back in. I plugged in the main plug that is near the fuse box on the left side. My issue is that there is a second plug (brown and black wires) on the right hand side and i dont know where it plugs in to. I have been researching and looking for instructions. Please help!

If it's the black plug that's looking at us, that looks like a directional light connector to me. The white thing in your hand is the headlight harness connector if that's what you mean.

You have the two directionals and one for the headlight. The headlight harness connects on teh LH side by the fuse block. That's for Gen2 but I think Gen1 is the same routine.

Thanks for the response!
My directional lights are working when i plug in the white connector. The headlight does not. Do you know where should the black wire should connect?

I don't know much about the Gen1 wiring, but as you're US market, I don't think you have running lights connected, whereas some other markets do, (like ours here in Au).
I'm wondering if it's a running light connector and not used?

It's an accessory plug.
Oh stop being facetious. :D
Actually I am still stumped and I worked on it last night for an' hour.Studying wiring schematics, investigating old posts...etc.
The wires indicate the circuits of the hi beam (yellow) low beam (white) and the turn signals (brown and blk w/ white tracer).
It almost caused me to start drinking again...

Nope, I'm gonna have to walk away from this one before it causes me more brain cell damage...which I just can't afford.

Good luck all...
Rubb.

Well gents, i am still stumped. I cannot find a place to plug in the brown and black wires.
Accesory, ehh idk about that one..
My turn signals DO work when the white plug is connected but i have no head light still. I changed the bulbs, swapped the fuse and still nothing.

Wouldn't lead you wrong. It is 12V power (brown)/ground (black w/ white trace) tied to the ignition. Have lights and other things plugged in to that coupler on a couple of my bikes with a Boost by Smith harness.

Your headlight should plug into that main harness that you have by your thumb. If the headlight is not working it may be a bulb or wiring problem elsewhere.

As shown in the link on my previous response, the Gen2 has 3 connectors, the white one for the headlight, the other two smaller connectors (mine are grey) for the directional indicators. If your conectors in the nose are different, the Gen1 wiring must be different than the Gen2 or else someone did some custom wiring.

If this is an accessory, why wont my headlight come on? I checked fuses and changed the bulb. Everything else is plugged in. Any bright ideas? (Not a pun for the headlight) lol

Grab a test light or multimeter and start testing for 12 v moving backward from the headlamp connector thru the harness to the relay and the fuse. If you have 12 v on the power feed wires, then check the headlamp ground wires continuity to ground terminal on your battery.
Also check the bulbs with a multimeter on ohms resistance across the terminals on the bulb.
If you check thru the wiring you will find the problem
