Headlights adjustment struggle

Help needed. Is there an easy way to adjust headlights?
The manual shows in a very small scetch, the insertion of a screwdriver (does not indicate straight or Philips type or how long it is) in a hole, under the front fairing at an angle (!) to turn the adjuster. It seems that there is no guide for the screwdriver to feel the seat of the adjusting screw. It also adjusts both low and high beam as I understand, something that isn't very helpful. Adjusting for low beam, the high beam gets very high to be useful. Does anyone know the proper sequence from trial and error?

at gen1

what u need:
a ratchet with 10 mm hex 4 the headlight & the 2 screws of the speedo
put the speedo out and you can reach the two 10mm screws at low and high beam.

a lill "how to" 4 the gen1 i wrote here at my homepage + a sketch in meters (to be legal on german roads)

for non-german speakers :
abblendlicht = low beam
fernlicht = high beam

tiefer = lower
rechts = right

It’s a screw driver. Use a Philips. It’s there. After I lowered the rear of the bike I had to adjust mine. Turn the headlight on and stick the Philips in the hole. You will get it. Make sure the headlights are pointing at an object so you can see it lowering or raising .

I recently did this since my new rear tire is higher. Look underneath front cowl above front fender from right side of bike. You'll need to get low and shine a flashlight up there. You'll see an access hole, where you can stick a medium size flat blade driver in at about a 45° angle. I think per manual clockwise raises the beam.

I found the hole and managed to raise the beam, but now the high beam points to the sky, and when both beams are on, there is a dark gap between them. I will need to adjust them separatelly. Does anyone have a pic of the rear side of the headlight assembly?

I have this exact issue. The dark gap at first was directly at the horizon and I couldn't see properly at night. I adjusted so the low beam is a little too low and the high beam hits far in the distance. It is stupid that there is no overlap. Anyone else have this issue?

So you adjust the high and low beam separately?

This is an old thread, and it is for the Gen1 and Gen2 high and low beams as they can only be adjusted together, not seperately.
There's a Gen2 mod somewhere that cut the headlight assembly in two, and made it so the high and low beams could be adjusted individually.
But, I do not know if the Gen3's high and low beams can be adusted seperately or not.
Maybe the owners manual says whether or not the adjustment is seperate or not?

No the owners manual only shows the one adjuster. The above to a different thread told me what I needed. Since this is in the Gen3 info I assumed it was Gen3 related.

Sorry, I thought it was the Gen2 section.
But, it sounds like Suzuki skimped out the Gen3 headlight too then.
