headstock

Hi I have just noticed a slight knock when I push my bike into the garage when I apply the front brake I dont know if its the brake pads clicking or could it be play in the headstock my bike is the k8 model with 16000 miles on it I do not do wheelies but I ride it pretty hard any ideas please??? regards Gordon H.

I would suspect it is just the play in the brake pads and nothing to worry about

Check your rotors to make sure the buttons that the rotor floats on are still tight. Just grip the outer edge of the rotor and tug fore & aft. It there is any slack that is most likely the source of the clicking sound.
