Thanks to all that posted here...been checking daily for a few weeks.  Planned on getting the evil Kawasaki until I was educated.  Pick up the Hayabusa yesterday from Bartelsville Cycles as advertised 10,399 plus 12.00....no games.

Glad you got your education in school, not on the street!

Congrats, wise purchase!

Welcome aboard...

Welcome and congrats! That's a pretty good price. What kind of inventory do they have?

Welcome welcome!!

so.. out of curiosity... was there any one point besides the all the good guys here that helped with the choice?

No inventory on the floor. Had three orange two weeks ago when I put the deposit. Google them and call to check, I delt with Kyle. Remeber to take a block if your picking up in a truck, had to go to lowes, but left an extra for the next one they didn't warn.

One point besides you guys, well..."careful" is going through my head, I've seen the rely's!
Really though there was two things - when I moved to a KTM 520 dirt bike I said I will never buy another underpowered anything, so power. Second the mode selector, we all like power but when your caught in the rain or even unexpected snow, the ability to dial it down at the end of a long day made sense... we all get tire or lazy at times.

Congrats, welcome to the club. I took a ride arround Lake Tenkiller today. Lots of fun curves. Let me know if you want to get together and ride, I can come up to Tulsa, or you can come down here. Lots of good roads down here.

Welcome RandyJ,
I bought a new 07 last May,in Bartlesville, and love it. I live up the turnpike in Bristow. Anytime you want to ride, let me know. I would love to get all the Oklahoman Org. members together for a ride.
God Bless,
Be safe,
Brian

Live in Mustang (about 5 miles west of the airport in OKC). Anybody want to get together for a ride, post a message. Distance isn't an object--just gives me more ride-time on the new Busa. Picked up a new metalic red 07 yesterday, love it!!! Been riding for 40 years and the 1st sport bike I've owned (yeah, I'm a Harley owner too but not a believer they are the only bike on the road believer).

I'm an old fart, 56, but my philosphy is, I'm growing older, not UP!
