Big change, I have a cruiser. Honda shadow 750, but I used to ride my friends bike CBR 600 , so I got a filling how it was going to be , but this beast is another level

Oh yes....and then some...there is no comparison to either bike-this bike can be as meek as a little lamb or ferocious as the big bad wolf...you just have to learn where and when.

And yes , he took care of the bike very well , let me just tell you that I bought it with 600 miles on it , and everything, fluid wise are in great shape, but I may have to buy some tires cause even though they have treads the tires are old ,

Definitely get new tires BEFORE you get too far with it.

Those old tires will cause major issues as they will have become hard and the stock tires were not great to start with.

Many threads here on tires (search feature is your friend) I recently switched to Michelin PR5s from Bridgestone S21Rs and find the Michelins to be great so far.

Will look into that . Thanks
Those tires are 16 yrs old and are done, this bike has so much power, the chance of something bad happening is very real.

One thing to not mess around with on a bike like this is tires. I personally wouldn't even ride it until new ones are on it.

Yeah I will do that, just bought it on monday , I haven't register the bike yet. And I dont know how big of tire I can go with stock frame not extended swingarm. I guess a little bigger than factory size will do great.

A 200 is as wide as you can go. You can also go taller. Both have draw backs without the +S if you ask me. The tiny bit of width comes at the price of cornering etc. Taller, speedo get even less accurate, acceleration loss.Stock width rolls over easier in the twisties. Stay stock, its how the engineer's at Zook designed it. Opinions = are like a___ ____s, everybody's got 1.
Rubb.

Only 600 miles that's crazy. Congratulations and welcome to the board

Welcome and congrats! A 2004 with 600 miles is a great find in that condition. Not sure what other add-ons besides the slip-ons, so will be interested to see what you do with her.
