Hello from the UK

Hi everyone, I'm Geoff, from Manchester England.

I've just bought a 2000 Busa that is in need of some TLC as it has been stood for about 3 years and been ridden very little before that having covered just 2900 miles and it is 12 years old tomorrow (1st April)!!!

I also have a 1991 Honda VFR750FL and a 2010 Gsxr1000.

Am in the process of cleaning out the fuel system, it had 13 liters of 3 year old fuel in it which has screwed the pump and the tank is rusty inside.

I want to keep the motor stock but am not sure on the direction to take regarding the tank and pump, I think I would like to convert to a later tank with the internal pump having read on here about the problems with the external pump.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Hi ...from UK as well.West Mids based.Just got a low miles 2000( though not as low as yours at 22k!).Cant give you any help with the tech probs of a 3 year stored Busa other than...
Change the fluids and service
Look at the tyres real close..they can go off
Looking at your bikes I guess you know that.
Got 021's on mine and 1000 miles in they are very good
