Well i'll start by introducing myself, my name is Jay and im 24 years old. I purchased a 2004 blue/silver hayabusa in excellent condition and only 2k miles last friday. My previous bikes were a cbr f2 and a yammie fz1. I've always loved the look of the busa and when push came to shove i had to get one. I will admit i was slightly intimidated before ever sitting on my bike, but after riding 5 hours saturday and about the same today, my fears have diminished. I can not believe the ride quality of this bike!
It rides incredibly smooth and stable and the classic mechanical speedo and tach look very sharp imo. For the first time in over a year, my car has not been started 2 days in a row.
I also want to thank this site in particular for helping me with my decision on the busa. After reading everyones hands on experiences with them, it almost made my decision too easy.
Heres a pic of the bike from late nov. '06 when the local bike shop got it in. The only mods to it are the yosh rs-3 pipes.
