helmet intercoms

my wife and i both have shoei full face helmets and are looking for the best intercom/communicator we can find.

i have read a lot of reviews on the nady and chatterbox stuff that is pretty negative.

does anyone out there have a different brand that has worked well for rider to passenger and bike to bike ? i would much prefer something that installs under the seat with just a cable to each of our helmets, the stick on your helmet stuff looks like crap and surely adds to the wind noise.

The BEST you can buy...here it is...

I have to agree...Autocom ... pricey but definately the way to go...mine is 3 years old and never misses a beat ... cables for music, phone, radar and all the rest of the toys we use..

which ever one you get adding a NOJ quiet rider nylon soft cover to the bottom opening of your helmet will prevent all open wind sounds from entering near your chin thus making the intercom flawless. I have a chatterbox and a quiet rider. ABSOLUTLY no complaints between rider/passenger or bike to bike at 150MPH...

Incidentally, seems pretty much any BMW motorcycle dealer carries AutoComm and the accessories. Setting it up to be bike-powered is also very handy. If you need any help wiring it up, let me know.
