Help! Vibration from 60 - 75 MPH

Hello! Recently bought a new 2014 Hayabusa, flashed ecu, full brocks exhaust, the whole 9 yards. when I bought it, it was lowered in the back with the brocks lowering links; however this was causing the back tire to rub on the fairings, so I just removed the links and put stock ones on there. I recently id maintenance (Chain adjustment, coolant, brake fluid) and got new Dunlop Q3+'s on the front and back and have had them aligned and balanced 4 times!! Unfortuantly I still get this vibration between 60-75,80 MPH that is very slight, but that I can feel in my handlebars and in my foot pegs. it is most noticeable under 4k in 6th gear and de-accelerating from 8k to 4k in 5th gear. All the shops I have taken it too cant find whats wrong with it, and have checked everything. The only thing that seems to be currently wrong with the bike is that the handlebars are not perfectly centered (which I do not know how to fix). My shop and I are currently stumped on what it could be so I am turning to the experts on here!

@jenksb24 Welcome to the oRg!

You might wanna make sure your forks are aligned. Super easy/cheap to do. This, for instance, but there are MANY YT vids on this topic.
Not sure it will address vibration but might help with handlebar centering

Welcome....

Never fun when you have something like that as it is a challenge to trace....

How many miles are on the bike?

Hayabusas have a noticeable vibration at 4000 rpm, enough that some of them will put your hands to sleep.

How's your wheel bearings?

Also check all your engine mount bolts....sometimes they loosen which cause vibrations to travel....

Check your exhaust to make sure it isn't touching anywhere...even slightly....

8566k miles - the vibration around 4k is normal? Should I be cruising in a higher gear to avoid it?

Will check the bearings, mount bolts and exhaust!

Vibration at 4k is normal for these bikes...if you travel at speeds that put you at 4k, you might want to change your gearing....

How is the chain? Even one partially seized link would cause more vibration than normal.....

It's definitely used, but I don't see any noticeable seized links - the vibrations are more rhythmic in the front handlebars and pegs then really feeling it all over the bike

Wheel bearings and/or a seized chain link will push those vibrations through the bars and pegs...

That's only if it's excessive and not the usual Hayabusa 4k vibration.

Is this your first Hayabusa?

yes first one ever! I bought it last month and even rode it down from where I bought it, and it did not have these noticeable vibrations in the range I am describing. Only after they adjusted the chain, tried to fix the handlebars, and put new tires on it did I start to feel this issue. (Drove it 5 hours at and around 60-80 mph and didn't feel a thing- was smooth as butter)

See, that would have been a good thing to lead with as it describes a lot more to us....

I would almost guess the chain is slightly out of alignment....

Adjusting the handlebars wouldn't cause a vibration.

Tires might if they have some sort of factory defect? There was a thread running around here where people were having issues with Michelins but it might not just be Michelins......hard to say...

The easiest and simplest thing is to check your chain alignment.....many times the hash marks on the adjusters aren't accurate....a micrometer works or one of these:

Or if you are real fancy....the laser one......

okay, Ill inspect the chain alignment when I get it back tomorrow; Or should I have the shop do it since they probably have one of the fancy laser alignment tools. additionally, we took both tires off and rotated them in front of a tape measure and couldn't find any defects
