Help with front seat release

Hello, I am a newbie to the site. I just received my 2004 Hyabusa this evening and unfortunately it was delivered to me with a dead battery. I do not know how to release the front seat to get to the battery? Can someone tell me how it releases? I own an older GSXR-1100 and it just has a key slot that you turn to pop it loose, but I can't find how this one releases. Probably somthing very stupid that I am not seeing. Thanks

There are two allen head bolts. One on each side just below the seat.

There are two screws holding it on. There is one on each side just below the front of the seat on the side. They are a "allen head" type of a fastener, which by this time you should own a set. They are need to do most anything on a busa!! Don't feel bad, it happens.

Thanks, I wan't to get the charger on it tonight. I saw those 2 bolts but it did not look like they were attached to the seat. I appreciate it, I'm looking forward to riding tomorrow. I purchased the bike over a month ago and the shipping company has been hauling it all over the country before they finally made it here.

The correct size allen wrench should be in the tool kit under the tail.

(huperoptik @ Sep. 07 2007,21:40) I think that the custom paint on this one might make it run a little better.  Just kidding, the blue looks good.

Dude be careful on that bike. She looks like a trailer queen.
By the looks you might have lost a little stopping power.

Very nice. I love the tribal.

Sorry to divert, but is that your John Deere tractor in the back?
