Help With Idle (video)

Hello,

Thought I'd post this in a new thread to (hopefully) maximize views and feedback.

Original thread on this topic (and more):

I'm trying to troubleshoot the idle on a previously neglected 07 Busa. It's a bit choppy, and the choppiness carries into riding. I can hold the throttle steady at a low speed and feel the bike lurch a bit.

Also, every time the throttle 'blips' on it's own, I can literally FEEL it through the handlebars, like a knocking sensation. So far I've replaced oil/filter, air filter, spark plugs, I've cleaned out the throttle bodies with CRC TB cleaner (spray directly in, let it hot soak for 15 mins), and I've been running Berrymans B-12 ChemTool in the gas (5 full cans so far). I've also done a throttle body sync following Jinksters how-to (https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/threads/jinksters-how-to-synch-your-busa.35030/)

I've also looked at my TPS. When the bike is off, the tack ( - ) is at the bottom. When I turn the bike on, without any throttle, it is in the center. When I apply throttle, it moves to the top. Not sure if that is how it should work..?

For those who are good with this stuff PLEASE have a listen! Any and all feedback is appreciated!

I guess I would have to be there. Both my '06 and '08 had a bit of lope at idle, very distinct. My mechanic friends love it.

Yeah that sounds like the exact same thing. Could you feel it in the handle bars, or when you were riding at low speeds? Also, when you would rev your engine, would the RPM's instantly fall down to idle speed? Mine doesn't always do this - more often that not, if I pull the clutch in while riding, the RPM's will casually fall down to 1500-2000 RPMs, sit there for a second, then slowly go down to idle (set as in my video). Sometimes the idle wont even return back to where it is set, it will just hang between 1500 -2000.

Mines fine, someone will be along soon, and hopefully they'll read what you just posted with the first post.
