Ok so I thought this was an "african violet" but not so sure now...

It has not budded and bloomed in the 3 years I have had it and want to know what it is and how to make it thrive..

It has a "thick" velvet leaf and grows back the same every year..

Lamb's Ear

Got a bunch of it in my garden. The kids love it. After it spreads a bit, you can break it up and re-plant it.

Thats what I was going to say Omar. Very soft leaves, and you can get them in white also. Very nice.
Yep. My Mom is a Master Gardener. You should see her yard! We have our Busas...she has her Garden! Nice part is that I don't have to usually buy any plants; she splits hers up and gives me whatever I'd like...

Thats very cool. I love elephant ears. Any color or size. I need some monkey grass to line my beds with. You can split that every year and have plenty to give away.

Oh, I love those, too!

Mom took her Elephant ears from last year and used them to make 'splash blocks' for her down spouts. Next project is to make a fountain out of them!

I'll have to find a pic of them so you can see what she did...

Cool, cant wait for the pics. Ours are just a couple of years old and we didnt transplant the bulbs this year. They should get a little bigger anyway though.

Hey nothing wrong with guys liking to garden. It is very manly!!

I planted them in very sunny area hoping the other plants around it would give it enough shade. Oh well.
