Be cautious in the future buying bikes or vehicles. Think about all the water damaged vehicles from the NO area that will be coming on the market within a few months trying to be passed off. It would suck to buy a Busa off of Ebay only to have a flood wreck arrive at your door.

Just something to ponder.

Good point. I was kinda thinking bout that.

very good point, however I'd be curious to see how many we really see short term....I'd think its something you might see in 9-12months rather than 2-6 months. Its kinda fresh in folks minds and will take a bit to get shid cleaned up anyway.

I'll take a flood damaged '98 GSXR-600

I don't think you'll have to worry too much about [nice] flooded bikes hitting the market. Anyone with a nice bike (and a decent dose of common sense) would have been jumping on it and getting the hell out of there before Katrina hit. I'm guessing even dealerships probably packed up their goods and left. Let's see.... hurricance with 175mph winds bearing down on your ass. New Orleans "normally" sits below sea level. How many of you would have left your bike?
