Hey y'all. I'm JD (John Ditmore) from Vegas. Just purchased this SWEET 01 Busa. I got to "test ride" it a bit first: my racing buddy and former owner JJ (John Johnson) has been racing this bike at Bonneville for the past 4 years. I've been the "alternate" rider for the past two. Funny thing was this year I was the faster rider at 202.800 mph! So now I own it and JJ just purchased a brand new 08 Gen II. So we'll be racing two bikes at Bonneville next year and hopefully set a few land speed records in the process.
I better cut it short cause I can ramble. I'm an MSF instructor on weekends here in Vegas and a Manufacturing Engineer M-F at a two bit sweatshop down by the Airport. Got the Bonneville bug in 07 and now I'm hooked. This year I'm gonna bore it out to 1397 and absolutely crush a few land speed records. ZX-14s can kiss my ass, the BUSA rules!
