HID Install

Does anyone have a full write up with pics and everything on the best way to install the HID on the Busa. i searched but could not find what i was looking for. I am a little nervous when it comes to taking the busa apart. It would be helpful for this newbie if you started from the very beginning with what to take off and how to take it off.

I know it will be a lot of typing but it will be very appreciated!

Its a very easy install if you know how to take of the fairings of your bike!! ...But if you do feel a lil uncomfortable to do it yourself... i suggest you take it to a motorcycle electrician and get it done!!

what all do you have to take off to get the nose off? Im sure i can do it, just might take some time.

Did any of you have to put a rely on the system to stop the bulb from flickering? I have never had a problem with the HIDs on my car but my friend got some for his Tohoe and they flickered so he had to put them on relays and now they dont flicker.???

there is no need to remove the nose piece....just the windscreen and the upper/lower dash panels....

Oh...ok! The pics in the install show the nose piece off. He might have done that just to get a better pic of the install.

I took it off specially for you Bru... I was a bit nervous taking my nose off but its very easy .... ask Michael Jackson...For the effort it's worth doing as it gives you heaps more room to work and to get it tidy .

I'm sure it can be done by leaving it on but if I was doing it again ? Off it would come...

Thanks alot.....i was wondering if anyone had ICEMANNS install. I just want to see two different ways of doing it.
