well i just ordered a xentec kit 4 my 03 busa and have been reading alot about needing a delay or relay added 2 the system. i have heard some say u dont need it while others swear by it. so b4 i proceed with the install i wanna get some input. any help would b great. like i said i have read this and that, yes and no, but at the same time most of the stuff i have been finding is from like 4 years ago so dont kno if things have changed with the technology used 4 the kits so just any help would b great

I am also wondering about this my friend just put a set on his 07 with no relay and work just fine.

I have a relay from the battery to power up the ballast.Works great now that I am not overcharging the battery.No delay on mine but i start it with the key with the button pushed.
