Hidden alarm

Hello
Just bought a 04 gen 1 . I put the battery on trickle charge overnight to boost the battery and she started fine. After awhile with everything off a beeping sound from the front nose fairing sounded so I quickly disconnected the battery but it still carried on. If an alarm is fitted I don’t have a fob to deactivate it so hopefully it’s main battery fault that just needs replacing. Has anyone else had this problem and how was it resolved
Thanks..

Welcome...
I have an 04. There's nothing I know of that could be doing that. Sounds like it could be an after market toy...

Pull the nose off and see what you see. Disconnect the battery first. Also definitely aftermarket.

Thanks..

my personal hint to "resolve" is to rip the alarm out.
because 99% of ALL bit older alarms make trouble by sucking your battery empty.

and don´t forgett - make a test if even only one single passenger stopps when your alarm makes noise
i strongly suppose no reaction at all

no one cares - everyone just stares and then moves on

I hope you got the 2 key and the tiny black label with key number on it + Owners manual with ALL service stamps in it .
Now it's time to FIT a gps tracer on you lovely bike .

To remove easy and look in top fairing , emove inner fill plastics and unbolt the Dash it's only fit with 2 bolts.
Now you have plenty ROOM to see inside .
Greets from Tulpcountry the Netherlands .
