Hmf full vs oil filter

Just got around to trying to install my HMF Full and noticed that it is DAMN close to the oil filter - Do those who have this system find that you need to remove the header to change the filter?

Thanks for your input - FYI, they sent me the wrong fuckin can so the bike is still in pieces and the plate for the passanger footpeg is wrong as well - It is soooo damn close to the tire that I think they sent me the wrong one

Damn exoticsportbikes.com

No need to remove the header to change oil filter.
Just get a strap wrench and it will be easy.

On the plate, are you sure you installed the spacers right?

Did what the instructions said - Plate, Spacers, Stock Plate with Peg and the way the HMF plate sits, it is damn close to the tire - They sent me the wrong can (Left side can and for a smaller exhaust, flang does not even fit over the exhaust) so I think the plate may be wrong as well

Not happy at all with exoticsportbikes or HMF at this point but I am sure I will be once it is installed and running

It is different spacing on either side.
Be sure to check the instructions again.
Exotic has been talked bad about alot on the board.
HMF will probably make everything right.

Read and re-read them a few times and the plate just looks to be wrong - I will be phone the phone with HMF first thing tomorrow

Thanks man

Thee are 4 spacers, 2 of them are smaller then the other 2. I put the smaller ones on the right side because the left side was a tight fit between the rear passenger pegs.

i added 4 washers on top of the spacers inorder to get it out far enough out
