HMF Hi Mounts Rubbing??

I saw a post a while back about a guy who's HMF Hi Mounts wore a hole in the support of his swingarm. Has anyone else had this problem? What other mods do the hi-mounts require besides dropping the rear pegs. Anybody have a picture of the black chromes?

You don't have to drop the rear pegs. You don't have to do anything with the rear pegs.

As far as the clearance, it is primarily on the left side of the bike. When I installed mine, I supported the bike with a steel bar thru the swing arm pivot hole then disconnected the dog bones so that I could move the swing arm its full range of motion and make sure that it cleared. I have had no probs since.

Well except I have to disconnect the dog bones to get my hugger in there.

Don's advice about removing the dogbones is excellent. You can adjust the clearance with washers. It's really fairly simple.
