5580QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem" target="_blank">THIS!</a> Look familiar anyone? GMbusa and I both run Very Similar setups...

Min was made in GMbusa's garage in about 10 minutes from a leftover Brakelight bracket. Had it to an unannounced speed multiple times, no problems... This guy wants $250 for a (albeit) thicker, chrome version... I'll stick with mine for now, thanks... Unless the someone on here wants to make one for a reasonable price... Group buy anyone?

Is yours 1/2" thick?


I personally think its an overkill in design.

But to pump those parts out on a one off basis....he's looking at $20-40 each piece..times (2) parts =$80+

Plus the welding (he welded the 2 parts tgether plus a stud or a mounting nut) add $20-40+= $40-60+

Plus any hardware (a few cents at best unless he's buying them at home depot and then they might be a few dollars each) won't add a figure but its impled

The chrome plating.......$30-50+ dependign on where and his discounts and quantities.= $50+


So it'd be safe to say he couldhave $190+ dollars in each of those items....


I say if they sell....let him make a buck. That's a pretty big investment.

Real shame people harrass guys like this and then throw $100+ at Tobin seats which cost under $5 and time to make.

Well, coming from seeing the G3 tag holder that are custom cut and chrome plated going for, what, $70-ish... it seems a bit steep.

That seems like a REALLY high price, especially seeing as i can get one that looks almost identical to it (except with the logo and "hayabusa" laser engraved in it) from the stealership for $112.99

I won't dream of comparing what you bought and this piece.....you bought something that's polished...not chrome....and I highly doubt its anywhere near 1/2" thick.

You bought a piece of bent polished and cut alumiuim sheet (probably cost $4 to make)
